Locum People are seeking a Consultant General Medicine to work in Scotland long term.
The General Medicine department within an established hospital in Scotland are on the search for a Locum Consultant General Medicine for a period of 3-6 months initially with a view to extend.
Job Description
- 40+ hours per week
- 10 PA per week
- On Call TBC
- This Consultant will be part of a General Medical Team to review patients moved from their base ward and plan their discharge.
- Meet with Team first thing to allocate work, prioritise new patients and ensure all patients seen at least twice a week with a plan in their notes
- Support available from specialities on site
- Last hour of the day used to support Admin activities
- May involve supporting activities in the Acute Medical Assessment Unit
- Rotating into a ward as a shared responsibility.
